About the role

We are hiring a Customer Account Manager to own renewals and expansion within our existing base. You will keep customers thriving and grow the relationship over time.

You will represent Rutylis in important customer conversations and help prospects understand where we can create real value. We run a consultative sales motion built on trust, strong discovery, clear communication, and long-term customer fit instead of short-term pressure.

In this Customer Account Manager role, you will have real ownership rather than a narrow task list. You will be expected to understand the problem, communicate trade-offs clearly, make good decisions with incomplete information, and follow through until the work is shipped, adopted, and improved.

This is a remote - us position designed for people who do excellent work without needing an office to do it. We value clear writing, reliable follow-through, inclusive collaboration, and the ability to work across time zones with context, trust, and respect.

What you'll do

  • Own renewals and expansion across a book of existing accounts
  • Build relationships that grow value for the customer and Rutylis
  • Own a pipeline from prospecting through close and expansion
  • Build trusted relationships and understand customer needs deeply
  • Run a disciplined sales process with accurate forecasting
  • Partner with marketing and success to land and grow accounts
  • Represent Rutylis with integrity and a consultative approach

What we're looking for

  • A consistent record of meeting or exceeding quota
  • Excellent discovery, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Discipline with CRM hygiene and pipeline management
  • Resilience, curiosity, and a genuinely consultative style

Nice to have

  • Experience selling SaaS or marketplace products
  • History working complex, multi-stakeholder deals
  • Familiarity with modern sales tooling

Compensation & benefits

$100,000 – $140,000/yr base · $140,000 - $190,000 OTE — premium-band, reviewed twice a year.
